Wow! I haven't posted on here in a while, sorry about that. The day Wii Fit came out our internet got shut off because we were a week late paying it. I was like really we were a week late and you shut us off. Plus they charged us $150 for early termination of our contract! I called them and told them we are not cancelling we were just a week late so they turned our service back on a couple days ago and told me they took off the $150 fee and when we just got our bill they charged us for $150 installation and I was like what the heck is going on, everything was already installed, we just had them turn it back on nobody even came out. Plus the woman I talked to on the phone said all we would owe when we got our bill was $30, they are supposed to be calling me about it but if they don't call me by tomorrow I will have to call them.
I love Wii Fit so far I have lost 4.8 lbs in two weeks, I set my second two week goal at 4 lbs as well. It is also cool that the whole family got in on it too. My brother seems more into it than anybody else in the house. My 3 year old wants to play it so bad but she can't stand still long enough and doesn't understand what she is supposed to do. She tries doing the hula hoop game all the time but she always fails it. She still has a great time. It is so cute when she sits there and says "Measuring, Measuring..."

Wii Fit and Other News
Okay, so this is where my inspiration for this comes from,
http://www.4colorrebellion.com/wii-fit/
If he can get results I know if I apply myself I will too. Plus because I am so much more overweight than he was I will see bigger results over a shorter amount of time. I learned a lot while reading his journal, I will chronicle my Wii Fit journey here but Every Wednesday I will post my weight loss or gain and take my measurements. Once a month I will take pictures to see if there is any significant difference. I still want to make my goal 60 pounds in within 3 months but after seeing his results I feel a little apprehensive about this goal but I think it still might be possible, like I said the more you weigh the more you lose in the beginning so hopefully I do well and stay focused. If you are getting Wii Fit too and would like to chronicle you Wii Fit Journey as well let me know and we can link to each other to garner support and encouragement.
In other news, I saw a pretty interesting article about Square Enix today(in other news links), I guess they are worried about rising competition. It's hard to believe that they would be worried though, I mean Square Enix has made the best RPGs I have played, I don't think they have any competition at all. I am a little skeptical about Final Fantasy 13, if you haven't yet heard the main character is a girl, that is a first for a final fantasy game.
Ever since I started playing MMOs though I haven't been keeping up much with console games, now that I have kids though I don't have the amount of time that soul sucking MMOs take so I'm starting to get back into console gaming.
Well I better get to bed if I want to be up to go and get my Wii Fit tomorrow morning.

Wii Fit
I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now and I finally got my inspiration! I pre-ordered Wii Fit some time ago and am very excited to be getting it soon. I have set a goal of losing 60lbs. using the Wii Fit within 6 months. If you are trying or want to try the same thing leave me a message if you are also chronicling your Wii Fit journey as well and we can glean tips from each other and moral support! I will be posting weekly updates on my Wii Fitness level as well as posting my measurements in inches, which is I heard, the best way to tell if you are getting results.
I am a 23 year old stay at home mother of two beautiful girls. One is nearly 3 and the other nearly 1. Blessings come with each age, for example, we can just give our 1 year old, Ellie, a Wii remote without batteries and she is happy, however if we try the same trick on with our 3 year old, Eden, she knows the difference between one that work, mostly I think because the blue lights on the Wii remote. However the Wii-mote only keeps Ellie entertained for so long before she loses interest but Eden is so cute playing baseball(even though she can't hit the balls very well she can't really mess up pitching) She will yell things like 'Out of the Park!' Which I have to admit is pretty darn cute! She also likes tanks, but she has no idea how to play she just waves it around and when things blow up she yells "I killed you!" Which I also think is cute.
So I have no doubt that while I am doing Yoga she is going to be right next to me trying to do it as well as Ellie is grabbing my legs and crawling up and down on the board, that might throw things off a bit but I'm sure I'll find some way to entertain her. My husband is also excited to see what games they will come out with that incorporate the board other than the Wii Fit.
All in all I think Nintendo has won the majority of my future business. I love the DS Lite, the Wii and have had every previous system as well and they are just getting better and better. I for one don't know how they will ever make a future system that will surpass the Wii. However there will always be some games, such as the Final Fantasy games that I won't be able to play on the Wii or games like Soul Caliber 4 for X Box360 and PS3. Both systems that I hold grudges against but sooner or later will have to pick the lesser of two evils, I haven't yet decided which one that is yet though.
My brother has an X Box360 and I have played that(Guitar Hero 3) and the graphics are a lot cooler than they are on the Wii but surprise, that and the ability to download songs are the only noticeable difference to me. Sure I miss seeing the cool graphic effects around my character when I rock out and my hands on fire when I am doing awesome but hey that kind of stuff just isn't the most important thing to me. However I do wish we could download songs on the Wii version, I understand though, why we can't.
